Wireless Network Viewer

Publish services

The Wireless Network Viewer requires a service of network access that can then be added to a map and shared with your ArcGIS organization. Select a deployment method and follow the steps below to publish the service required for the Wireless Network Viewer.

Wireless network

To publish the Wireless Network map and add it to your ArcGIS organization, complete the following steps:

  1. Publish the map as a hosted feature layer or as a feature service using ArcGIS for Server or ArcGIS Enterprise.
  2. Sign in to your ArcGIS organization.
  3. Browse to the service and edit the item details:
    • Title: Wireless Network
    • Thumbnail image: Wireless Network Thumbnail
    • Summary: Map used to view the wireless network.
    • Description: This service is used in the Wireless Network Viewer to search for and view wireless assets. The service includes a view of mobile switching centers, offices, cell sites and sectors, long-haul network, and backhaul routes.
