Wireless Network Viewer

Create map

The Wireless Network Viewer requires a map with the wireless network. With the map and app, staff can search for and view wireless assets in the service territory. The wireless network map can be used on a mobile device or consumed in a configurable web application template from a web browser.

To create the Wireless Network map, complete the following steps:

  1. Sign in to your ArcGIS organization.
  2. Create a map that can be used to view network assets by completing the following workflows:
    • Choose a basemap.
    • Add the Wireless Network service to the map.
    • Configure the layers' pop-up properties.
    • Save Wireless Network map.
  3. Browse to the Wireless Network map, edit the item details, and configure feature search to search for features in your map. For example, to search for cell sites by their ID, configure the find location by layer as follows:
    • Layer: Site
    • Field: Site ID
    • Condition: Equals
  4. Share the map with your ArcGIS organization.
