Share trace results

The As-Built Editing and Analysis map supports publishing the results of a connected isolation trace.

To publish the results of the connected isolation trace, complete the following steps:

  1. On the Gas Utility Trace toolbar, click on the Isolation Trace tool to activate the tool and then select the location on the map to be the starting point of the trace.
  2. To publish the trace results, open the Publishing Tracing toolbox and run the Append Group Layer To Feature Service tool.
    • Log in to your ArcGIS organization.
    • Select the group layer from the trace results (for example: TraceResults 1).
    • Enter the Trace Results feature service item ID.
    • Set the Layer Map to Layer Map.
    • Set Output Project to the same projection as the Trace Results feature service.
    • Run the tool.
  3. Review the published results from the Trace Results feature service in your ArcGIS organization.
