Publish application

The Valve Scheduler allows operations managers to sketch in areas that require the valves to be exercised. This application is created using the ArcGIS Basic Viewer web application template.

To create Valve Scheduler App, complete the following steps:

  1. Create an app from the Valve Exercising Scheduler map and the Basic Viewer web application template. Share the app using the same properties as the Valve Exercising Scheduler map.
  2. Configure the app.
  3. Browse to the Valve Scheduler app and edit the item details:
    • Title: Valve Scheduler
    • Thumbnail Image: Valve Scheduler App Thumbnail
    • Summary: Application to assist field workers during water system valve exercising by creating exercising areas.
    • Description: Draw the areas where valves need to be exercised. You can assign each area to a particular field crew and update the start and end dates.
    • Tags: Water, Valve, Inspection, Exercising, Public Infrastructure
