You can configure a valve exercising map and share it with your Field & Facility Maintenance group in your organization. Field crews can then access the map on their smartphones or tablets with the ArcGIS Collector application. Additionally, the information collected in the field can become immediately available to the office staff to schedule repairs or service shutdowns. A Valve Exercising Scheduler map can also be configured for operation managers to assign work areas to field crews.

Valve exercising map

To create a Valve Exercising map, complete the following steps:

1. Sign in to your ArcGIS organization.
2. Create a collector map using the ValveExercising service, then save the map as Valve Exercising and share with your Field & Facility Maintenance group.
3. Disable editing for the system valve and exercising area layers.
4. Sign in to the ArcGIS Collector to access the Valve Exercising map.
