The release notes for the Data Loading Tools toolbox are described below.

January 2023

The Data Loading Tools documentation has been moved to mature support. For the most current information, go to An overview of the Data Loading toolbox.

Updated the Execute Data Load tool to fix a bug where GlobalID values were not preserved when copied to a GUID data type.

Updated the Data Loading Tools toolbox from version 2.7 to 2.9 - 3.0, aligning with your version of ArcGIS Pro.
Added a new geoprocessing tool Update Data Loading Workspace Schema, which creates a copy of a Data Loading Workspace and updates all mapping and domain workbooks.
Updated the Create Data Loading Workspace tool:
- The Predefined Mapping parameter now allows you to block two words or phrases from being matched.
- Added the ability to opt out of breaking mapping workbooks out by subtype.
- An Info tab is provided on the mapping workbooks to provide instructions and information about the workbook.
- New functions are now available in the Expression column drop-down menu for the mapping workbooks.
Updated the Execute Data Load and the Append with Transformation tools:
- You can optionally load data into a preview geodatabase instead of the target workspace.
The Data Loading Tools now support maintaining attachments and additional capabilities for preserving Global IDs.
Improved support for Feature Services across the Data Loading Tools toolbox.
Added support for loading data from a feature class to a table.

Updated the Data Loading Tools toolbox from version 2.4.1 to 2.7 and added support for ArcGIS Pro 2.7.

Updated the Data Loading Tools toolbox from version 2.4.0 to 2.4.1.
Updated the Create Data Loading Workspace tool:
- Workspace to Workspace source and target mapping is now supported.
- Added the Predictive Field Matching Options and Predefined Mapping parameters.
Added a new geoprocessing tool, Generate Predefined Mapping Table, for generating a predefined mapping table based on a configured Data Loading Workspace. The output table includes a list of the datasets, fields, and coded values descriptions from the source and target data mapping workbooks.
