Publish feature layer

Tactical Operation Plan data can be created and managed with the Tactical Operation Planner application. Follow the steps below to publish the service required for the Tactical Operation Planner map.

Tactical Operation Plans

To publish the TacticalOperationPlans feature layer, complete the following steps:

Sign in to your ArcGIS organization.
Publish a new hosted feature layer in your organization using the TacticalOperationPlans feature layer and add the following title and tags when creating your new hosted feature layer:
- Title: TacticalOperationPlans
- Tags: Local Government, Tactical Operation Plans, Law Enforcement, Police
Note:

For help publishing and configuring your feature service using ArcGIS for Server or ArcGIS Enterprise, see the Configure feature layer topic. Once you have published the feature service, add it to your ArcGIS organization before completing the remaining steps.
Edit the feature layer item details:
- Thumbnail image: Your image.
- Description: Tactical operation plans developed by law enforcement personnel.
- Editing: Enable editing and Keep track of who created and last updated features.
- What kind of editing is allowed: Add, update, and delete features.
- Sync: Enable Sync (disconnected editing with synchronization).
Share the service with law enforcement personnel.
