This workflow will walk you through digitizing the structures in the Area of Operations.

Creating Features

1. Open the Editor toolbar by navigating to Customize > Toolbars and selecting Editor.
2. On the Editor toolbar, select Editor > Start Editing.
3. In the Create Features pane, select the feature template you wish to use (if the pane is not present, navigate in the Editor toolbar to Editor > Editing Windows). Be sure to create both:
• Area of Operations
• Structures
4. Click on the map to place points features or draw line and area features.
5. When complete, select Editor and Save Edits.
6. Save the map document.
