Setup ArcGIS Online Address Locator

  1. Open ArcMap and sign into your ArcGIS Online Organization account.
  2. In the Catalog Tree, expand GIS Servers, then click Add ArcGIS Server.
  3. Click next and add the URL for the relevant ArcGIS servers:
    • The URL for the ArcGIS Online Geocoding Service is: https://geocode.arcgis.com/arcgis/
    • The URL for the ArcGIS Online Routing Services is: http://logistics.arcgis.com/arcgis/services
  4. Open the Geocoding toolbar.
  5. Select the dropdown in the Select Address Locator and select Manage Address Locations.
  6. Select World Geocode Service (ArcGIS Online).
  7. Click Set Active.
