Configure Directions widget

The Logistics Planning draws routes and provides directions using the ArcGIS Online World Route Service. This service requires subscriber access as it consumes credits to for more information about credit usage when creating simple routes, see Service Credits Overview page.

Follow the steps below to connect to the ArcGIS Online World Route Service, configure the widget, and configure subscriber access to enable directions in the application.

Configure Directions widget

To configure the Logistics Planning application to use routes and provide directions, complete the following steps:

  1. Sign in to your ArcGIS Online organization.
  2. Browse to the ArcGIS Web AppBuilder application item page and click Edit Application.
  3. Click the Widgets tab, then click Set the widget in this controller.
  4. Hover over the Directions widget, and then click Configure this widget.
  5. Copy the URL from the Route URL, and then click OK.
  6. Click the Attributes tab, and then click Subscriber content access.
  7. Click Add new URL, type in a Title and paste the URL into the URL text box.
  8. Set the Request Limit and Interval. For more information, see Subscriber content access.
  9. Click OK.
  10. Save the application and share it with everyone.
  11. Launch your application.
