The Antenna Structures app allows staff to search for antenna sites and view the site and sector information. This app is created using ArcGIS Web AppBuilder and the previously created Antenna Structures map.
Antenna site locator app
To configure the Antenna Site Locator app, complete the following steps:
- Create an app with Web AppBuilder and the following settings:
- Title: Antenna Site Locator
- Summary: An application used to view antenna site and sector information.
- Tags: Wireless, Antenna, Site, Sector
- Update the application's theme.
- In the Map tab, click Choose Web Map and choose the Antenna Structures map previously created.
- In the Widgets tab, add a new Group Filter widget to the application.
- Rename the Group Filter widget to Antenna Filter.
- Configure the Antenna Filter widget using the following parameters:
- Filter Set Name: Structures Filter
- Description: Filter by Site ID
- Preset Operator: EQUALS
- Filter layers and fields:
Layers Fields Use Value Site Site ID Checked Sector Site ID Unchecked - Start in Simple View: Checked
- Hide Widget Options: Checked
- Append Filter to Existing Web Map Filter: Checked. Select OR as the operator.
- Zoom to: Checked
- Hover over the lower-left corner of the Antenna Filter widget and set the widget to open when application loads.
- Configure the application's attributes to meet your organization's branding requirements.
- Save the Antenna Structures application.
- Browse to the Antenna Site Locator app and edit the item details:
- Title: Antenna Site Locator
