The Tax Parcel Editing includes a add-in called the Attribute Assistant. This add-in uses a series of predefined methods to automatically populate attributes when features are created or updated.
The add-ins share a common code base and configuration file. To function correctly, the same version of each add-in should be installed on your machine. Remove any previous versions you have installed on your machine and backup the configuration file before installing the add-ins below.
To install the Attribute Assistant Add-In, complete the following steps:
- Close any open or running ArcGIS applications.
- Using Windows Explorer, browse to the Application folder.
- Double-click AttributeAssistant.esriAddIn to run the installer.
- Click the Install Add-In button.
