Set up editing map

The Tax Parcel editing map works with the Parcel Editor toolbar to organize the survey framework, subdivisions, lots, tax parcels, and encumbrances in a fabric data model.

To add the toolbars, complete the following steps:

  1. Browse to the MapsandGeodatabase folder and open TaxParcelEditing.mxd.
  2. In ArcMap, open the Parcel Editor toolbar by browsing to Customize > Toolbars > Parcel Editor.
  3. Begin using the editing map and the Parcel Editing Workflows supported in ArcGIS for Desktop.

When you're ready to use the editing map with your data, start by downloading the ArcGIS for Local Government Information Model. It can be used to create the empty geodatabase you'll need to migrate your data.
