As new poles and signs are collected in the field, asset identifiers (for example, Facility IDs) can be assigned to the new features by mapping technicians using ArcGIS for Desktop and the Attribute Assistant Add-In. The asset identifier for each pole can also be assigned to the respective signs so users understand which signs are attached to a given pole. Optionally, configure the format of the asset identifier rules to align with current information managed in your organization.
