Military Overlay

Install the Template

To install the Military Overlay template, complete the following steps:

  1. Review the hardware, software, and data requirements for this template.
  2. Download the template to your computer.
  3. Use your extraction utility to extract the MilitaryOverlay .zip file to a folder on your computer.
  4. Browse to the MilitaryOverlay folder and copy the MilitaryOverlay .aptx file to the \Documents\ArcGIS\ProjectTemplates folder (under Documents in your user profile).
    This will add the template to the list of available project templates under "Create a new project" whenever you open ArcGIS Pro.
  5. Open ArcGIS Pro, under the Create a New Project dialogue, click MilitaryOverlay .aptx to create a new project from this template.
  6. If you did not copy the project template file to the \Documents\ArcGIS\ProjectTemplates folder, click Select Another Project Template and browse to the folder where you extracted the Project Template file.
