Vehicle Commander

Mapping

Use this workflow to learn to use the Vehicle Commander mapping capabilities, and become familiar with changing the map view.

  1. To change the displayed basemap, click the Basemaps button to open the basemap gallery and select one of the basemap icons.
  2. To add or remove the MGRS grid, click the MGRS Grid button.
  3. Add any additional overlays desired.
    • To add a map overlay, go to Main Menu > Overlays. You can add an ArcGIS map package (.mpk) enabled for ArcGIS Runtime. Click the Map File button to navigate to and select the .mpk of your choice.
    • To display a military overlay, go to Main Menu > Overlays and select/deselect the desired overlay.
