Publish services

Select a deployment method using ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS for Server and follow the steps below to publish the required services for the Railroad Inspection map.

Railroad Inspection

To publish the Railroad Inspection map and add it ArcGIS Online, complete the following steps:

Publish the map as a hosted feature layer or as a feature service using ArcGIS for Server or ArcGIS Enterprise.
Sign in to your ArcGIS organization.

Note:

If you published the service with ArcGIS for Server or ArcGIS Enterprise, you'll have to add the service to your ArcGIS organization before completing the remaining steps.
Browse to the service and edit the item details:
- Name: Railroad Inspection
- Description: A map used to collect railroad inspection information throughout a state
- Tags: Transportation, Railroad, Crossing Inspection, Field
