Before installing the needed ArcGIS Desktop add-ins, remove any previous versions you have installed on your machine and backup the configuration file before installing the add-ins below.
Gas Utility Network Tools Add-In
The Gas Utility Network Tools Add-In contains a series of focused tools to streamline editing and analysis on the gas network.
To install the Gas Utility Network Tools Add-In, complete the following steps:
- Close any open or running ArcGIS applications.
- Using Windows Explorer, browse to the Application folder within the Gas As-Built Editing and Analysis download.
- Double-click GasUtilityNetworkTools.esriAddIn to run the installer.
- Click the Install Add-In button.
Attribute Assistant Add-In
The Attribute Assistant Add-In uses a series of predefined methods to automatically populate attributes when updating or adding new features to the geodatabase. For example, one method populates a valve's size based on the pipe it intersects. Other methods help you maintain the integrity of your infrastructure data by populating a unique identifier, last editor, and last update date on each feature.
To install the Attribute Assistant Add-In, complete the following steps:
- Close any open or running ArcGIS applications.
- Using Windows Explorer, browse to the Application folder.
- Double-click AttributeAssistant.esriAddIn to run the installer.
- Click the Install Add-In button.
