Publish services

The select map grid pages geoprocessing service and resulting data can be accessed through the Utility Map Generator app.

To publish the geoprocessing service, complete the following steps:

  1. Open the GasNetwork.mxd.
  2. Navigate to the MapGenerationTools toolbox, open the Select Map Grid Pages to define the area of interest and run the tool.
  3. When complete, share as a Geoprocessing Service to ArcGIS for Server.
  4. Accept the default parameters when publishing the service.
  5. Open the ArcGIS Services Directory and record the REST endpoint of the service.
