Configure application

The Joint Use Survey Assignments application can be used by operations managers to batch assign work to field crews conducting joint use surveys. Once an area has been assigned, the new assignments are immediately available to field crews. This application is a configuration of Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS and the Joint Use Survey Manager map.

To configure the Joint Use Survey Assignment app, complete the following steps:

  1. Create a new app with the following settings:
    • Name: Joint Use Survey Assignments
    • Description: Application that can be used by operations managers to assign joint use surveys.
  2. Update the app's theme and other general settings.
  3. Update the map by selecting the Joint Use Survey Manager map.
  4. Add and configure a Batch Attribute Editor widget using the following settings:
    • Widget Name: Survey Assignments
    • Selection Type: Select by Area
    • Layer to Update: Joint Use Survey
    • Fields to Update: Assigned To, Survey Status
