Configure geoprocessing model

The Joint Use Survey solution includes a geoprocessing model to get started with conducting joint use surveys. With the Load Joint Use Data geoprocessing model, you can import support structure features to the joint use survey schema. Once your features have been loaded into the joint use survey feature class, the service can be published and used in maps and apps in your ArcGIS organization.

Load joint use data

To run the Load Joint Use Data geoprocessing model, complete the following steps:

  1. In ArcCatalog, navigate to your download > Maps and GDBs > JointUse.tbx.
  2. Open the Load Joint Use Data geoprocessing model, fill out the parameters and run the script using the sample data or your own pole data.
  3. You can further configure the model to append your existing joint use data to the schema by editing the geoprocessing model, adding your joint use data, and appending to the joint use survey schema.
