Create map

The ArcGIS Collector app consumes maps that are accessible to named users in your ArcGIS organization. Create a Door to Door Sales Recorder map and share it with sales staff. They can then access the map on their smartphone or tables when they sign in to the ArcGIS Collector app.

To create the Door to Door Sales Recorder map, complete the following steps:

  1. Sign in to your ArcGIS organization.
  2. Create a collector map using the Customer Locations service and share it with your Sales and Marketing groups.
  3. Filter the map for the individual sales staff, in order to see work assigned to them.

    An example filter to view only sales opportunities assigned to Matt.
  4. Sign in to the ArcGIS Collector application to access the Door to Door Sales Recorder map.
  5. Create additional maps for each sales staff in the field.
