Author and share your geographic content

ArcGIS for Telecommunications includes a series of focused maps and apps you can deploy in your ArcGIS organization. The focused maps and apps should be deployed with your own data and will help you address key business challenges in your organization.

To author and share you geographic content, complete the following steps:

1. Using an Internet browser, go to ArcGIS Online or Portal for ArcGIS and sign in with your publisher account.
2. Add existing items to your organization or publish your maps and data as web services to your organization. At a minimum, each item description should include the following:
   • Name
   • Icon
   • Summary
   • Description
   • Tags
3. Share the items with the appropriate group you created.

Create your organization user accounts

To create user accounts in your ArcGIS organization, complete the following steps:

1. Using an Internet browser, go to ArcGIS Online or Portal for ArcGIS and sign in with your administrator account.
2. Create a user account for each individual that will fill the roles in your organization.
3. Begin using your organization to develop and share focused maps and apps.
