Configure the Leak Assignment project

Before you can use ArcGIS Workforce, you need to configure the Leak Assignment project for your organization. The project owner needs to designate field workers and dispatchers before they can create assignments.

As the project owner setting up the Workforce project, you'll work in the Workforce web app.

  1. Open the ArcGIS Workforce web app, and sign in to your ArcGIS organizational account.
  2. Click Configure to review the project settings.
  3. Click the Assignment Types tab and verify that Leak Investigation is set to In Use.

    Additional assignment types can be added in the Add an Assignment Type section.

  4. Click the Users tab to assign users in your organization to the project.
  5. Under Organization User, select the drop-down arrow to add a user to the project.
  6. Under Project Role, select the drop-down arrow to specify the role for the user added in step 5.
  7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 to add more users to the project.

    You can also choose the Add workers from file option.

  8. Click the Advanced tab to review the App Integration and Location Tracking settings.
  9. Expand the App Integration section to see thatArcGIS Collector has been added.

    Additional apps can be added as needed to conduct your utility's work.

  10. Optionally select Location Tracking to track your mobile workforce.
