Adopta can be configured for many asset types for example, catch basins, hydrants, parks, streams, trails, and roads. It can be used by the general public on desktop computers, smartphones, or tablet devices. Select a deployment method using ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS for Server or ArcGIS Enterprise and follow the steps below to publish the services required for the Adopta application.

Catch Basins

To publish a asset maintenance program layer for catch basins and add it to your ArcGIS organization, complete the following steps:

1. Publish the map as a hosted feature layer or as a feature service using ArcGIS for Server or ArcGIS Enterprise.
2. Sign in to your ArcGIS organization.
3. Browse to the service and edit the item details:
   • Title: Catch Basins.
   • Thumbnail image: Your image.
   • Summary: This service contains a Catch Basin layer that is used for the Adopta application.
   • Description: This service contains Catch Basins used for the Adopta application.
   • Tags: Local Government, Adopta, Catch Basins.
   • Editing: Enable Editing.
   • What kind of editing is allowed: Add, update, and delete features.
4. Share the service with everyone.
