The Report a Leak app allows you to search and report leaks. It provides a view of the water system that is updated regularly as edits are made and allows viewers in your organization to make decisions based on the latest information.
Find an asset
The Search widget allows you to find locations or search features on the map. By default, the widget uses the geocoding service from your organization and displays searchable layers configured in the app.
- Open the Report a Leak app.
- In the search box, type an address or asset ID.
Suggestions appear as you type to assist in your search.
The map zooms to the address or asset, and a pop-up of asset information appears.
- To refine your search, click the drop-down arrow to view more options and choose a layer of interest. To remove a layer filter, select All.
Report a leak
The Report a Leak app allows you to add or edit a reported water leak using the Edit widget.
- In the Report a Leak app header, click the Leak Issues button to open the widget panel.
- To add an leak select its symbol in the template picker. Once the symbol is selected, click the location on the map where you want to add the leak.
Once you add a feature, a pop-up appears.
- Fill in the required attribute information and click Save.
